Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Coffee Loving Cardmakers The Stamps of Life Hot Chocolate

The Stamps of Life has some great Cocoa/Hot Chocolate stamps and dies!! My cards features the HotChocolate2, Patterns4HotChocolate stamps and the die set Hot Chocolate!

For my first card I stamped the polka dot pattern in red, using the matching dies to cut and mat it. I also stamped a few of the marshmallows and then fussy cut them.

I paired the mug with some gold card stock and an ornament pattern. I added the mug with foam tape, along with some marshmallows in the cup and around the bottom of the mug.  Then I stamped my sentiments, cut them out and adhered them.

For my second card I used some Llama pattern paper and cut the mug and whipping from white card stock. I also cut the spoon from grey card stock, using a little ink around the edges.

I found some pattern paper with small snowflakes and added it to a white card base. I added my Llama cup and spoon to the card with foam tape.

Hello and Happy Friday!!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Hero Arts Newton's Nook Wow Embossing Powder Coffee

I started with the Bookcase stamp from Hero Arts, stamping it with versamark ink on red card stock. Then I used Wow Embossing powder Metallic Gold Rich, super fine. I added Spectrum Noir Red Berry Sparkle Pen to some areas of the books. It's really hard to see, but in person its sparkles nicely with the gold embossing!

Next, I stamped the super cut sloth in a coffee cup from Newton's Nook Slothy Coffee set on green pattern paper I pulled from Echo Park Paper Holly Jolly Christmas pad. I embossed it with the same color as the bookcase.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Hero Arts Newton's Nook Wow Embossing Powder Coffee

I also stamped the sloth again on white card stock. I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color the sloth. Then I fuss cut him out and adhered it to the green sloth and then fussy cut the whole sloth and coffee cup out. I used the same red sparkle pen to color stripes on the coffee cup.

For the sentiment I die cut a circle die and stamped the sentiment in the center. From Art Impressions Place Card Pal die set I cut some holly berries and leaves.

To finish I wrapped the bookcase panel with black twine and then added the sloth coffee cup, sentiment and holly to the panel with foam tape. Last I adhered the panel to the same green pattern paper and then added that to a card base.

Hello!!

Today I'm back with my second card for the Coffee Loving Card Makers!! This summer I used some Birthday money and got this super cute octopus die, but I never got around to using it. So I got to think of a way to use it for the hop and I think it turned out so cute!!!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Spellbinders Honey Bee Stamps Coffee

I started by die cutting the octopus by Spellbinders and then using my Spectrum Noir Harmony Inkpads Ocean Blue, Baby Blue and Midnight to ink up the octopus. I figured blue because whats more winter then blue!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Spellbinders Honey Bee Stamps Coffee

Then I pulled out Honey Bee Stamps Flakey Friends it has just the right sized coffee cups, scarf and hat for my octopus. I used colored ink to stamp the cups. For the scarf and hat I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color them up. Then I just fussy cut everything out and adhered them to the octopus!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Spellbinders Honey Bee Stamps Coffee

Next, I cut a strip of white card stock and stamped the Cold Hands Warm Hearts from Echo Park Paper Co - But First Coffee stamp set. Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome!!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!! Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop!! Yay!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! You can start at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog, see a ton of inspiration and play along!! And of course there is a ton of great prizes too!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - STAMPLorations - Coffee

My first card features some fab coffee goodies from STAMPlorations!! They are one of the sponsors, so make sure to submit your fall/winter coffee project for your chance to win the STAMPlorations prize!! Seriously, they have 98 items when you search for coffee!!! What couldn't be better?!?!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - STAMPLorations - Coffee

I'm starting with my fall card (I'll be sharing more cards as the week goes on!) and pulled out STAMPlorations Zen Coffee 2 Cover Plate die. I first cut the die from some matte gold card stock, then I adhered it to a dark red card base.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - STAMPLorations - Coffee

Next, I picked out a fall pattern paper pad and different patterns out for different areas of the die cut. For example, I used a darker pattern for the coffee beans and the coffee inside the cup. After cutting I used liquid glue to add the different pieces inside my gold one. I did leave some of the areas not filled on purpose!
Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - STAMPLorations - Coffee

Then I stamped and white embossed the Perk Up! sentiment from the After Coffee stamp set. I cut the sentiment into a rectangle and adhered it to the die cut panel. To describe this, it sounds fast and easy, but it took away to cut and then adhere all those pieces!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Make sure you hop along and submit your own fall/winter inspired coffee card!! I'll be back in a couple days with another I made for the hop!!

Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday!! I'm on the Art Impressions blog today, my card features the new Grateful Hearts stamp set!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions - Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils
I stamped the cornucopia on white card stock, then I used stitched rectangle dies to cut it and some pattern paper. This was made with Lawn Fawn stitched dies, but Art Impressions has since made their own double stitched dies, you can check them out here!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions - Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils

Next, I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils. I don't have the list of colors any more, but I used like almost every pencil! Or at least it seamed like it!! Lol!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions - Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils

I stamped the sentiment Bountiful Blessings on a strip of card stock and then notched one end. Then I added the colored image to the light yellow pattern paper and then to some Kraft card stock and finally a card base. Last I added a couple wood dots.

Thanks for Being You

Hello!!

I'm popping in with a card I made for PinkFresh Studio November Challenge! I missed the past couple months, I've been soooo busy! It hasn't gotten much better, but I needed to take a little break from my DT designing and playing with some unused goodies is a great way to refresh my mojo!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - PinkFresh Studio - Succulents

The above is the graphic with the colors and theme! I went through my inks and picked out colors that were close. I started with the Simply Succulents stamp set, using my MISTI to do some watercolor stamping with the inks. The inks I used are listed at the end of this post.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - PinkFresh Studio - Succulents

I wanted to add a few details, so I went in with a fine black pen and added some lines using the stamp as a guide. Then I fussy cut out the succulent planter. From a matte gold card stock I used one of PinkFresh's Terrarium dies. I just adhered it on top of my succulents.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - PinkFresh Studio - Succulents

Next, I used the same inks to blend an inked background. I used Bristol card stock for the first time and wow!! it blended wonderfully!!! I added a few splatters of water and then black paint.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - PinkFresh Studio - Succulents

When that was dry I added a strip of black card stock along the bottom and then stamped the Thanks For Being You sentiment above that.

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - PinkFresh Studio - Succulents

I tied some black twine at the top of the terrarium and after adhering the succulents with foam tape added a bit of glue at the top of the card for the twine, cutting off the extra when it was dry.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
